CAB International is a not-for-profit organization that improves people’s lives worldwide by providing information and applying scientific expertise to solve problems in agriculture and the environment. CABI puts information, skills and tools into people’s hands. CABI’s 49 member countries guide and influence our work which is delivered by scientific staff based in our global network of centres. In Europe, science centres are located at Egham in the United Kingdom and Delemont in Switzerland. CABI manages a collection of over 30,000 living microorganisms representing over 6,000 species isolated from environmental and agricultural systems worldwide, and is leading efforts to provide infrastructure to underpin microbiome research.
